Effective August 17, 2015, two (2) new programs will officially begin, effectively becoming available for all Border Patrol Agents.
1. Physical Fitness Program (PFP) : Instructions and information has already been sent out by the Agency via agency information network so that members may participate in the program. Check your government email and look for the instructions. If you have questions regarding this program, you can reach out to the local (sector) Agency coordinator or to the designated union representative, Guadalupe Valenzuela via GOV email and/or via Union email at firstname.lastname@example.org Local 2554 has reviewed and agreed to the SOP that covers/governs this program.
2. Swap Program is officially open. Information and instructions about this program has been made available by the agency. Check you emails on the GOV network. Remember you need to go to the secure web site within GOV.net and complete then submit your application. Do not forget that this program will have an opening and closing day. 3. Verizon Cell Phone plan benefits and service for NBPC Union members. Details will be posted later this week. The program/plan is similar to the one presently employed by our (brother) local in the Tucson Sector. That particular plan is up and running and is only offered to current NBPC Union members. We will post details including information regarding the substantial benefits that this plan has to offer, as well as, any requirements members must meet in order to participate. Local 2554 anticipate that this benefit plan is going to be a huge plus for our members.
